In 2003, as part of a choreographic creation by Danièle Desnoyers, entitled Duos pour corps et instruments, Nancy Tobin designed a sound device for the dancers based on audio feedback.

DUO DES AIGUS is a meditative listening experience derived from deeply invested explorations where the border between sound and body is blurred.

Two dancers improvise, each with a guitar amp, effect pedals, and a small microphone attached to the body. During long periods, they forget themselves in the endless circles of almost still movements becoming sound and almost silence becoming movement.

En 2003, dans le cadre d’une création chorégraphique de Danièle Desnoyers, intitulée Duos pour corps et instruments, Nancy Tobin a mis au point pour les danseurs un dispositif sonore basé sur le phénomène du larsen.

DUO DES AIGUS est une expérience d’écoute méditative à partir d’explorations sonores profondément investies, où le corps devient sonore.

Deux danseurs improvisent, chacune avec un ampli de guitare, des pédales à effets et un petit microphone fixé sur le corps. Pendant de longues périodes, elles se perdent dans les boucles infinies où la quasi immobilité devient sonore et où le quasi silence devient mouvement.
